#10 Tapatio / The Pointe / Lookout Mountain
Nobody knows what to call this place,
not even them . . .
Designed by Bill Johnson,
so i have dearly loved it, but . . .
last time we were here, the guys we played with kinda opened my eyes to its condition flaws,
and truth to tell . . . it does seem like standards have slipped there . . .
the greens were very ragged, patchy, bumpy.
and now i feel the design may just be too punative . . . on 3 or 4 holes
but the course still looks great at a distance,
like on the #10 tee box . . .
